He’s the former artistic director of The Second City Hollywood, is a member of The Reduced Shakespeare Company, served as a consultant for Dreamworks, and taught for Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Kay, a writer on “30 Rock," is so smart and funny and honest and inspiring, that it’s no wonder that her first film made over $60 million dollars domestically. We talk about “Pitch Perfect’s” journey to inception, Rebel Wilson’s kindness (which lead to her being cast), and Kay’s part in "30 Rock’s" most expensive joke.
